Stephan J. Goetz, Ph.D., Executive Director, Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development

Dr. Goetz is Executive Director of the Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development, located in University Park, Centre County. In addition to his role as Executive Director, Dr. Goetz is a professor at Penn State University's Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology. Dr. Goetz completed his graduate studies at Michigan State University, where he received both his Master of Science and doctorate in Agricultural Economics. He chairs the Community Economics Network. Dr. Goetz is a member of the American Agricultural Economics Association, the Southern Agricultural Economics Association, the North American Regional Science Association, the North-East Regional Research Project, and the Southern Regional Information Exchange Group.
